[News] Gatecrasher: The Return of The Lion

Remember when your older cousin Jimmy would tell you stories about the golden years of Trance? And he would describe a culture that was purely about the music, matching or exceeding any event today? Surely he was telling wive’s tales, right?…wrong.

Welcome to Gatecrasher.

This legendary brand was conceived in 1993 when two men from the UK by the names of Scott Bond & Simon Raine defined a clubbing culture for generations to come. To date, Gatecrasher has released 21 albums, owned multiple super clubs, and posted every Trance pioneer on its bills.

It gave homage to tens of thousands of people wanting an escape from regular life, immersing themselves in a world that knew no prejudice.

It remains to be recognised as just that. And if you weren’t around in Jimmy’s time, you can still experience his glory days in what will be considered your glory days in years to come.

Gatecrasher: Return of the Lion crosses the Atlantic this August to kick off a tour on Australian and Indonesian shores. Headlining the tour will be the legend himself Scott Bond, and well established veteran Mauro Picotto. Joining them will be tech powerhouse Indecent Noise and Australia’s very own, Factor B.

For many of us, we want to keep the rave culture in our blood, or simply enjoy the offerings of that escape from regular life. Although evolution entails highs and lows, the soul of Trance has remained, and the best way to experience it is to listen to the experts.

I think cousin Jimmy was on to something. You should probably take his advice…
