[Review] Jochen Miller & JES – Head On

Neither Jochen Miller‘s hard hitting prodution, nor Jes‘ incredibly powerful vocals need any introduction…Both artists have been staples within the Trance community for quite some time, undeniably delivering some of the genres most memorable moments, and while both have dabbled outside their musical roots, Head On sees a return to exactly what made us fall in love in the first place.

Head On makes an immediate impact, with it’s rolling bass lines, focused percussion and off beat saw tooth sounds. Next up Jes‘ emotive vocals breathe a magically enhanced air over an already stellar production, meeting the all important need for relation, where the music no longer only moves your body, but penetrates all the way to your heart.

The track’s breakdown, provides all the layered synths you’d expect from a Jochen Miller track, fusing the lines between Progressive Trance, and a slight tip of the hat to Big Room.

All in all, Head On is an incredibly soothing peak time track, providing the transition between two interconnecting worlds.
