[Review] Johan Gielen – Magnitude (Architect Remix)

Not many names hold quite as much weight as Johan Gielen. From his pioneering work with Airscape , Svenson & Gielen, and countless main stage appearances , including his staple sets at Trance Energy, there’s no doubt Johan Gielen holds a special place in the hearts of many endearing Trance fans.

And if his recent string of singles is anything to go by, he’s still very much on top of his game. I remember the sweet melodies of Magnitude back in 2006, after getting my hands on a copy of Revelations in my local CD store… Yes kids, we used to have to get dressed, visit a store, and actually buy a physical disc to listen to the music we loved.

2017 marks a comeback for Johan’s creation, as Argentina’s Architect breathes new life into a classic piece of Clubland history, taking all the most beautiful elements from the original and giving them that all important new shine.

A pure, thumping kick drum-driven Uplifting Trance banger, filled with rolling basslines, lazer tinged synths, and hands all the way up in the air moments.

Definitely one for every generation of Trance.
